Weekly {City} Lettering: Leavenworth, WA

I really enjoy researching smaller, special, & unique places to travel since some "hot spots" can be overrated at times. It's just a neat experience to discover a hidden gem from time to time--something that is just special to you & your family or friends.
I've been looking up some different places to visit that have great Christmas decor, festivities, & overall great Christmas-y atmosphere. Of course, New York City is always a list topper, but here is a town that I think we'd all enjoy--Leavenworth, Washington.
It's a Bavarian-inspired town, so it would have that fairytale/storybook feeling everywhere you go (fun fact: became a Bavarian-inspired town from 1960s to revamp the town's ambience & boost its economy). Talk about nostalgic! It's in Bavaria, Germany the real Cinderella's castle is located, dontcha know? If that doesn't make me want to check Leavenworth out, I don't know what will. Add the ultra-awesome Christmas lights festival that seems to be one of the main events, here, & you have quite a charming town! Here are some photos of the Christmas festivals & quaint atmosphere mingled together for your viewing pleasure.
So, what better way to portray this gem of a town than to create it in the shape of a hopeful & charming Christmas tree? Seems this town has quite a community to keep it alive, & what better time of year than Christmas to feel brought together.
& we all lived happily ever after ...
Who's ready to plan a little road trip to check out this little piece of Germany?
