This is a piece by Matthew Cusick & it is absolutely amazing. The thought poured into this is to a level beyond me--the perspective, mostly subtle color palette with beautiful pops of color, the depth, the list goes on. I kind of gather the feeling of a sunset with the pops of orange & warm colors, what about you? It would be cool to go a little further & imagine each road being a different map of which you've traveled. I'd love to find an actual copy of this & hang it in my apartment!

This map beauty caught my eye because it's symbolic to my recent & more upcoming trips to the New England area--they're all starting to run together between meeting with great friends, watching some of my sister's basketball games, & the holidays--I am making trips up there every weekend this month! I'm truly enjoying traveling, & going through the many modes of transportation (trains, planes, & subways, oh my!), but I will be ready to relax when this round of on-the-go settles down. I will then only travel a block to get a cupcake & sit on my couch to enjoy it. I guess this could be a preview of what my dream job would be like, right Samantha Brown?
